When I eventually remembered where it was I knew that it would only be a matter of time before I updated Edward again. So for the record your not imagining things. I don't recall what technique I used in my search, but I may have looked at each page of this census in New Albany. Of course, as you may well have experienced with our family name, the many variations in spelling transcribed and recorded by non family members. I can't tell you how many times I've crunched my own signature knowing that some day a genealogist will look at this document and create another spelling. I must admit that I can still spot an Ashabraner - Ashabranner - Asherbraner - Asherbranner at a glance faster than most other skewed family names and I'am sure you can too. Thanks for keeping me on my toes and I'll do better at completing my postings. There will alway be more to come. Good Hunting!
